Sixth

Poem.  Author knows nothing about poetry, can’t really understand it, has a few favorites.  Nevertheless, under the influence of West Kerry (Dingle Peninsula) and (that night) Kilbeggin Irish whiskey, wrote one.

Sixth

The smell of the chill of a clear evening after a warm day

The feel of first dawn when it’s going to get hot

The sound of silent snowfall

The sight of closing one’s eyes to listen

The taste of opening oneself to the glories of the universe
